OMG HUDGE pores?

okay i have really big pores and you can like tell i have black heads what do you guys use to get rid of them???? like do i wash my face with something is there anything i could make at home or what?????? thanks ??OMG HUDGE pores?
start off by washing your face twice a day you can use a scrub made for poors and black heads neutrogena makes good products bior茅 also

you might want go see a dermatologist they have saved my faceOMG HUDGE pores?
get a facial, they will rid blackheads.

be warned if you do it alot, it will lose effect.

but if you do it every 3 months you should be good
Wash face morning and night. Use a scrub twice a week, concentrating on your problem areas. Try a mud mask once a week. And after getting out of the hot shower or washing face with warm water you can sqeeze them. (make sure not to scratch skin though) you should not bleed with a blackhead.
huge pores suck. use a cleanser daily, but instead of drying your face an not thinking much about it, get and ice cube and rub it all along your face until it melts. open pores are what cause acne. it gives a chance for your pores to become dirty. especially at night. and maby try a good facial mask and wear it to sleep. just a thought. good luck!
you can squeeze the black heads out thought they might bleed

Blackheads/Clogged pores?

Are blackheads and clogged pores the same thing?Blackheads/Clogged pores?
Well clogged pores often show up as blackheads initially and if you're lucky they later turn into ugly whiteheads.Blackheads/Clogged pores?
no.. but cloqqed poresz do result in blackheadsz so they're kinda similar iGuessz.

Do your pores ever go away?

seriously do they ever go awayDo your pores ever go away?
no, that is how your body gets rid of sweat. why do you want to get rid of them anyway?Do your pores ever go away?
I have been using the Avon microdermabrasion for one week for my pores and I'm already getting compliments. But, I'm a skeptic by nature so I'll give it a few weeks and hope it will make my pores shrink nad have more youthful skin. So you can give that a try.
Your pores are part of your skin's structure. They will never go away, and you wouldn't want them to, as they allow you to sweat and cool yourself. You can minimize them, but never rid yourself of them. Everyone has them, so don't worry.
nope everyone has em, but some ppl have them bigger than others, also you can get them to appear smaller by using a variety of face cleansers, creams. you should try Origins line of Modern Friction.
absolutely not thats like asking if your eyes ever go away but there apperance can be minimized =]
Nope they are with you forever.

Good luck,

Sophia

    Clogged Pores?????

I'M OVER 50 AND DAILY, MY LARGE POURS ON MY NOSE FILL AND I HAVE TO PUSH OUT GOBS OF WHITE STUFF. IF YOU JUST TOUCH MY NOSE IT WILL RELEASE THE WHITE STUFF TOO. I'M SO GROSSED OUT. THIS HAS BE HAPPENING FOR YEARS.

I AM OILY AND REALLY ONLY WASH MY FACE 1 OR SOMETIMES TWICE A DAY. I ALWAYS HAD BAD ACNE WHEN I WAS YOUNG, AND I STILL GET BLACKHEADS, BUT NOTHING LIKE THE CLOGGED POURS THAT I DEAL WITH EVERYDAY. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME???Clogged Pores?????
seek professional help!!! they'll know what to do.Clogged Pores?????
Try steaming open your pores, by filling a bowl with water and then putting a towel over your hear so that the steam doesn't escape, after you have steamed open your pores, clean them with an instant foaming cleanser, i like Caudalie. Then close your pores by rinsing your face in ice water.

Clogged pores are caused by a build up of dead skin cells which often stick to dry skin, so I also suggest using a moisturizer one a week, be sure to find one specifically for use on your face.

There are also some great buffing creams that are on the market that may help.

Also, drinking carrot juice will clear and prevent any blackheads or breakouts that result form having clogged pores.

    2) Are these products safe for sensitive skin types?

Dr. Wexler’s skin care products have been formulated to specifically address various skin concerns. Our regimens involve several moisturizing steps that include products with proven moisturizing benefits. Please refer to the “Recommended Regimen by Skin Type” section.

    INGREDIENTS

    1) Do any of your products contain fragrances?

    2) Do any of these products contain gluten?

Our products are not formulated to contain gluten. While none of the products contain grain ingredients, alcohols used in products (e.g., benzyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, SD alcohol) can be derived from a grain source which may contain a minute unintentional source of residual protein.

    3) Are there animal derived ingredients in any of these products?

No. The collagen sources used in our products are marine derived and not from animals.

    4) Are the ph levels of the products known?

    Not that we have seen

    11) What are the oil absorbers in the OIL-FREE HYDRATOR SPF30?

There is an aluminum starch compound present which functions to absorb oil.

    12) What are the moisture active spheres in the NO-INJECTION LIP PLUMPER? How do they work?

They are marine moisture activated spheres that swell and plump as they come in contact with moisture.

    TARGETED SOLUTIONS

    1) I have dark circles and puffiness under my eyes – are there products that can help correct these?

There are two products that will address your concerns:

UNDER-EYE BRIGHTENING CREAM visibly lightens dark circles with haloxyl de-pigmenting peptide and vitamin C skin-brightening complex. Our formula has been clinically proven to instantly brighten with optical diffusers and to visibly lighten dark circles.

DE-PUFF EYE GEL quickly reduces visible under-eye bags and puffiness with fortified yeast complex. Our formulation has been clinically proven to reduce the appearance of under-eye puffiness and firms the sink around the eye area.

    2) Will these products help fade my scars and/or pigmentation?

SPOT DAMAGE LIGHTENING SERUM is a concentrated complex that rolls right onto problem areas for targeted fast repair and a more even complexion. It diminishes age spots with 2% hydroquinone – dermatology’s most effective skin lightener.

This used in conjuction with our SKIN BRIGHTENING DAILY MOISTURIZER SPF30, and daily exfoliation with either our EXFOLIATING GLYCO PEEL SYSTEM or our RESURFACING MICROBRASION TREATMENT will provide maximum benefit.

    USAGE

    1) Can these products be applied around the eyes and mouth?

Refer to the individual product information for detail usage instruction and precautions. Those that cannot be applied around the eyes or mouth are clearly marked.

    2) Do I have to put the products on in a particular order?

The treatment routine is based on the four step process of “cleanse. exfoliate. restore. moisturize”. The MMPI SKIN REGENERATING SERUM is almost always applied after the exfoliation process and before moisturizing. (Exception: for those with Acne-Prone Skin, the MMPI SKIN REGENERATING SERUM should be applied at night after using the ACNOSTAT™ OVERNIGHT ACNE REPAIR LOTION).

    3) Should the moisturizer be put on before or after applying foundation?

A moisturizer should be applied before your foundation.

    4) Should a man shave before or after he uses the regimen and how long should he wait?

It depends on which exfoliating system he uses. For the RESURFACING MICROBRASION SYSTEM, use Step 1 (Resurfacing Cream) prior to shaving to soften the beard, and loosen ingrown hairs. Shave and follow with Step 2 (Intensive Hydrator). For the EXFOLIATING GLYCO PEEL SYSTEM, use in the evening when not shaving, so that freshly exfoliated skin is not exposed to the 10% glycolic ingredient.

    5) For the Acne regimen, in what order should the products be used?

    AM

    ACNOSTAT™ DAILY ACNE CLEANSER

    MMPI SKIN REGENERATING SERUM

    OIL-FREE HYDRATOR SPF 30

    PM

    ACNOSTAT™ DAILY ACNE CLEANSER

    EXFOLIATING GLYCO PEEL SYSTEM

    ACNOSTAT™ OVERNIGHT ACNE REPAIR LOTION

    MMPI SKIN REGENERATING SERUM

    TARGET

ACNOSTAT ACNE SPOT TREATMENT (to be used as needed in the morning or at night instead of Acnostat ™ Acne Overnight Repair Lotion

    6) Is it normal when starting the system or using a product in the system to experience dryness, breakouts, red spots, or a pinking of the skin? If so, when should that go away or how long should I continue using the products?

Any significant change in you skin care routine can result in transient changes in your skin as it adjusts. These products have been extensively tested for safety and are not expected to result in adverse skin reactions under “use as directed” conditions. As with any performance skin care product, there may be a small number of individuals who do not tolerate its use. In those instances, we suggest that you discontinue use if irritation develops and persists.

    7) How soon should I expect to see results?

Clinical results are product dependant. Refer to your product information for details. Although individual results may vary, clinical testing has shown that visible results are expected within 4 weeks of use on the average. Consistent use of the products for longer periods is expected to result in further improvement. However, if you find that our products have not met your needs, we will be happy to accommodate you with our money-back guarantee.

    8) Is there an age recommendation for these products or is it made for both teen and adult skin?

These products were clinically tested with healthy adults, aged 18 and up.

    PRODUCT SPECIFIC

    1) The package says the MMPI SKIN REGENERATING SERUM has professional strength MMPI. Is there a %?

Our proprietary MMPI SKIN REGENERATING SERUM formulation contains the highest percent level of MMPi technology found in any of our formulations. It is also the purest form of MMPi clinically shown to diminish visible signs of aging.

    2) What are the benefits of the MMPI SKIN REGENERATING SERUM?

The MMPI SKIN REGENERATION SERUM is clinically proven to firm skin, visibly improve skin’s surface inside and out using a professional strength anti-aging solution; it will help diminish the appearance of lines, the sink and the sag. It is able to dramatically increase skin’s elasticity. It actually works to help halt the harmful effects of existing MMPs while diminishing the formation of new ones, resulting in younger-looking skin.

    3) Can the MMPI SKIN REGENERATING SERUM be used as a moisturizer alone?

The MMPI SKIN REGENERATING SERUM is a problem solution product therefore it is not intended to be used as a moisturizer alone, although individual needs vary. We always recommend using a moisturizer with an SPF after applying the Serum.

    4) Is the MMPI SKIN REGENERATING SERUM oil -free?

    Yes.

    5) Can the SKIN BRIGHTENING DAILY MOISTURIZER SPF30 be used in other areas a customer has age spots besides those specified on the directions (exa. hands)?

In clinical testing, the SKIN BRIGHTENING DAILY MOISTURIZER formulation has been shown to significantly brighten the appearance of skin on the face, however we have no reason to believe it would not provide brightening benefits if used elsewhere on sun exposed skin.

    USAGE WITH OTHER DERM PRODUCTS

    1) Can patients on another skincare regimen prescribed by a dermatologist use these products, for example, Retin A?

We recommend that you consult with your Dermatologist.

    2) Can I use just one (or some) of the products in the line with my own skin care regimen?

For best results, the products in the Dr. Wexler line were designed to be used together in the described regimen; however, each of the products was tested individually and can be used with other skin care routines. Please review the details in the product information for proper skin care advice.

    SPECIFIC MEDICAL CONDITIONS

    1) Can a pregnant or nursing woman use these products?

We have taken great care to ensure our products are safe through extensive evaluation and clinical testing but we recommend that you consult your physician prior to using any new products if you are pregnant.

    2) Are there any known products/medications/vitamin/supplements that a customer would not want to use when using the system (or vice versa)?

There are no expected supplement and/or drug interactions expected with use of these topically applied cosmetic and OTC products.

    3) Will these products work with my rosacea / exzema ?

Although Rosacea and Ecezema are medical conditions, we have developed products specifically for use with sensitive skin types. Please refer to the “Recommended Regimen by Skin Type” section. For example, our SKIN QUENCHING CALMING MIST provides specific benefit to people with the redness and inflammation associated with Excema and Rosacea. This product will provide symptomatic relief, but will not cure the condition. To cure this condition, you should seek the treatment of a qualified physician.

    WHERE TO BUY

    1) Where else can I find Wexler Products?

In addition to all Bath %26amp; Body Works stores nationwide, you can find the products at C.O. Bigelow stores, select Victoria’s Secret Beauty stores, Henri Bendel and Fred Segal, Go to Where to Buy on patriciawexlermd.com for exact store locations.

    Clogged Pores????......?

what would be the best facial cleanser to buy for clogged pores, that will minimize them as well...And a good moisturizer that wont cause break outs??Clogged Pores????......?
First of all, I suggest that you go see a Dermatologist so they can tell you what is the best to use for your skin type. My doctor told me to use Cetaphil Facial Cleanser and the Cetaphil Facial Lotion with Sunscreen SPF 15 along with it both can be found at a pharmacy drug store. The Cetaphil Facial Cleanser (which has been working great for me, my skin has not been dry and has cleared up since I have stopped using all the other big brands), is very gental and cleanses the pores without any harsh chemicals. it is created by the same company that makes the prescription acne gel Differin (which the Dermatologist suggests to use along with the Cetaphil Facial Cleanser if you have an acne problem). she told me to NOT use store brands that claim to fight acne and all of that like neutrogena, st. ives, ponds, loreal, clearsil, etc. because they all over dry the skin and causes the pores to over produce oils which causes the pores to clog up even more and cause acne. that's how they sell the product...your skin keeps clogging up, therefore you keep buying it.Clogged Pores????......?
I've found that alot of daily scrubs are very irritating because most of them have glycolic acid, which dries out your skin. One that I found that works and doesn't irritate is (Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Scrub 5oz for about $8). Aveeno also has very good daily moisturizers depending on your skin type and how much spf you want. If you find the daily scrubs to harsh, you can always try exfoliating once a week. For the once a week routine I love (Mary Kay Microdermabrasion step 1 $30). The beads are so fine and leave your skin sooo... soft! I could have been a little more specific on my moisturizer advice, but not knowing your skin type makes it difficult. Sorry!!! I hope the rest helps.
well. first of all, before you wash your face, you need to open up your pores to get the deepest clean you can. you do this by Boiling water, and putting your face above the steam for about 10 minutes. don't get too close to the water though, don't burn yourself. that opens up your pores. and wash %26amp; mosturize with pro active!!! i know its expensive, but it reallllllllllyyyyyyyy works! trust me! and only do the hot water thing about once a week.
simple: you can clean your pores yourself...

    start with clean skin.

step 1. fill bowl with very warm water...

place bowl on towel on a table.

with another towel..make a tent over your head and hold your face near the bowl...for about 10 minutes

your skin will now be soft enough to clean.

with clean hands, gently press your pores...do not squeeze hard...you just need gentle pressure.

    no squeezing near your temples....

only your forehead area, chin, cheek and nose.

    do this weekly.

since your pores clog, you don't need a moisturizer..your natural oils are sufficient.

remember to keep your hands clean for extractions and keep face washed 2-3 times a day.
    biore' pore minimizer
    Tabitha-

I have been using Arbonne - Re9 anti aging line.

They also make a regime for younger people (18-30)

I have samples of both if you are interested to see if it helps or your face loves it.

When you find a regime that works, stick to it or during trying out something give it a little time.

Each one of the above I have has a mask to try out.

Also be careful of the make up you use. All natural and a mineral based foundation is best -
I like Aveeno Daily Radiance Cleansing Pads and Murad AHA/BHA facial wash. Aveeno is the best bargain - 30 pads for about $7. One side is smooth %26amp; the other is texturized for exfoliation. Murad runs about $30 so I use it sparingly.

Neutrogena makes some good face masks - one is a clay mask w/ benzoyl peroxide and one is a gel mask w/ salicylic acid. I can recommend the clay mask but haven't tried the gel mask yet.

Haven't found a great moisturizer yet. Clinique's basic yellow moisturizer is good but pricey. The gift w/ purchase promotions kinda help justify the expense a little.
I have clogged pores so i use acne free it say on the box better that proactive i think it works GREAT!so u can buy this pack that is only 19.99 it comes with face scrub which is step 1 and toner step 2 lotion step 3 and this zit stuff step for and it will last u like 2 months i love and u can buy it in wal mart target k mart and places like that so hope u try it and if u try it hope it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have always had a problem with acne. I have really large pores and I'm very proned to blackheads. I don't mean to sound lame, but PROACTIV really works. It's about $40 for a 3 month supply and worth it. 3 steps, (1) facial scrub cleanser (2) pore refining toner (3) repairing lotion. Easy! Works great. I've heard that Wal-Mart has their own brand and works just as great. But I stick to the sure thing cause it works for me. You can buy pore refining toners in just about any cosmetic isle. This is what you need. It shrinks your pores but will dry out your face if you don't use something else with it.
Medicated Acne line from Bee-Luscious Cosmetics the foam wash and minimizing toner are incredible products and I highly recommend them. Its on beeroyalproducts.com
Usually I used a clay mask to suck bad stuff out of my pores. I've been using a pretty good Alpha Hydroxy mask from Walgreens, I believe that's also the brand name of the mask. I maintain healthy pores by cleansing my makeup off entirely with MACs Cleanse Off Oil then following with a mild soap like Dove to remove the residue. Steaming your face with a store bought device (bed bath and beyond!) works too.

Large nose pores after Biore Strip.?

So I used a scrub first (to loosen the pores), then used a biore nose strip. The strip ripped out lots white gunk (I think it's called black heads).

But now, my nose has pin sized holes on it. My pores I think are just so streched out by black heads I pulled out that they're staying open.

I tried an ice cube, witch-hazel, and cold water. But it still persists.

Any other way to close the pores? I heard egg whites might work.Large nose pores after Biore Strip.?
Unfortunately, there is no way to permanently shrink large pores. The good news is that the appearance of large pores can be greatly reduced in a number of ways. For example, cleansing the pores of debris, excess oil, and bacteria will significantly reduce their prominence. This can be achieved by using a low-strength topical medication or face wash containing retinol or vitamin C. These antioxidants help the skin increase collagen and elastin production while simultaneously loosening dirt and oil from the pores.

Exfoliation is also key to minimizing the appearance of large pores. This can be accomplished using an at-home facial scrub or by visiting a spa or dermatologist for a microdermabrasion treatment. Microdermabrasion is a special type of facial that gently scrubs off the dead surface lawyer of the skin, revealing softer, healthier skin beneath.Large nose pores after Biore Strip.?
You do not need to worry, the whole point of the strip is to take out all the gunk. By putting all that stuff on your nose, it is just making it worse because the pores are already open and now you're INSERTING gunk into them.

Try using them before bed, and then going to sleep. By morning, your ';holes'; will be gone.
    differin does not work.

if u have potlike holes on ur face..theres really no way to get rid of em

but maybe if u go to ur dermatologist they can give u tips on how to make em seem smaller
    differen gel topical application

    an good exfoliator

Seriously...does Preparation H really help shrink large pores?

I would not use preparation-h for anything other than the area that it's intended for. I had used it many years ago for my eczema to no avail as it did not help, and a chemist told me that prep-h has mercury in it (at least back then) and that it's only safe for it's original purpose since there is so much bacteria in that bottom area, that it wouldn't matter. Needless to say that I stopped using the ointment (ointment is supposed to absorb into the skin quicker as per a pharmacist, just fyi) for my hands that day :) I don't know if anything will permanently shrink pores but perhaps glycolic products on the shelves in cosmetic stores such as Alpha Hydrox can help the appearance of them. Perhaps you can ask a (board-certified) dermatologist.

    Large Pores?

My skin is clear but I have large pores, are there any products I can use to make them look smaller. I am getting married in 8 months and don't want them to be noticeable.Large Pores?
well biore has a line that works pretty well (it's called pore minimizing) and mix in a blender an unripe tomato, 1/2 tbs. honey, and a pinch of salt, and use it as a face maskLarge Pores?
try going to get a facial. That should help and also they can recommend some stuff that would be really helpful specific for your skin type and how sensitive your skin may be.

Good luck with the pores and the wedding--congrats!
The best thing i've found is Artistry's Pore Cleansing Masque. I had huge pores on my nose and cheeks and this really shrunk them down to size. My make up looks so much better going on. It's really easy too because it's a masque that you rinse off instead of peeling. It's actually guarenteed to work or they'll give you a full refund. If you keep using it you will definatley not have anything to worry about by the time your Wedding get's here (Congratulations by the way) You can't get it in stores but you can get it at http://www.adrennan.qhealthbeauty.com I hope this helped to answer your question :)
Biore pore minimizing cleanser (warming mask is great)...any biore products, really.
have you ever tried a retinol? green cram is the highest strength retinol you can buy without a prescription. it can be hard to find but you can order it online. it has made a huge difference in my pores as well as skin tone and fine lines...and it lasts unlike products that are temporary such as biore (even tho i do like biore). it is really a wonderful product. a little pricy, but worth it. one thing i would recommend is to start soon if you want a difference in 8 months. it takes time to totally change your skin and you will probably go thru an adjustment period where you may peel or breakout if you are acne prone. again, check out the website www.greencream.com. they have a great blog for any questions you may have. kevin is awesome!

    GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR WEDDING!!

    Blocked pores!!!?

its weird, but i dont know how it happened. i have blocked pores around the lines of my lips. like, the line where the skin of my lips reach the skin of my face - the pores are clogged. what can i do to get rid of them and does anyone know exactly what could have caused it?Blocked pores!!!?
the pores around your lips may be clogged because of the lip mosturizer you use on your lips eg. lip gloss, lip balm, vaseline etc...... maybe to stop them being clogged you should changes whatever it is that use on your lips to somthing lighter of non-comogenic... meaning somthing that you can use that does not clog you poes...

    hope this helps

    good luck!

    *best answer*Blocked pores!!!?
I don't know what could cause it but I recently found a miracle product that works to unclog pores!! Are you ready for this.... hand sanitizer!!!! I know it sounds crazy but my arms used to have clogged pores/hair follicles, and I started putting anti-bacterial hand stuff on them and they were different over night!!! If that doesn't work then the DR. can prescribe some anti-bacterial face wash that will clean your pores... in my experiences the hand sanitizer works just the same!! Good luck!!
GO TO THE DEMOTOLOGIEST OR GO TO WAL-MART AND GET SOME ASTRIGENT CALLED SEA BREEZE IT IS FOUND IN THE MAKE-UP AND BIKINI WAX ASLES..THIS WILL GIVE YOU A NICE STIMULATING TIGGLE BUT WILLN'T HURT THE SKIN..........THANKX HAVE A GREAT DAY GAH!!:)
U MAY BE ALLERGIC TO THE LOTION U R USING. IF U USE VASELINE OR SOME SORT OF GREASE....DONT!!!

THAT CLOGS UP YOUR PORES AND CAUSES BREAKOUTS. IF UR BREAKOUTS R REALLY BAD, DNT GET PROACTIVE. ITS REALLY STRONG ND CAN CAUSE REDNESS. CLEAN AND CLEAR IS NOT AS STRONG AND WORKS MIRACLES. IF U CANT AFFORD THAT THEN U CAN USE A HOME REMEDY LIKE MILK AND SUGAR..

    I HOPE THIS HELPED.

Hair pores on legs extremely visible.........even after shaving!!!!?

NEED HELP!!! I have great legs but hate to wear anything that shows them. I have tried waxing, shaving, hair removal creams, etc. No matter how smooth my legs are, the hair pores are real visible. Does anyone have this problem and has found a solution? If so, I NEED YOUR ADVICE!!!Hair pores on legs extremely visible.........even after shaving!!!!?
I haev the same prob i have huge one s well what i do and it works is i use just cold cold water and shave like that.. as long as you keep alot of water on it it will not give you shaving marks...

It works b/c my friend told me about it and i used it the day of my prom and it worked goodHair pores on legs extremely visible.........even after shaving!!!!?
i take it your dark complected too? or remotely tan. I have this too and never really understood what the deal is with it. I can say that sunning helps, but what really seems to make them less visible is daily exfoliating and gradual self tanner covers them and evens the appearance of your skin color. It is just part of your skin, you probably have them everywhere but since you shave you see them mostly on your legs.
I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. Like you, I've tried all different kinds of hair removal methods thinking it was the cause. What I've discovered is that exfoliating really helps AND tanning. I don't like to lay out in the sun or use tanning beds because I don't want the ';leathery'; look when I get older. So, I use a tanning lotion at home. You can also get a really good spray tan at a salon. I've noticed the pores are hardly visible now. Good luck!
I'm naturally very pale and don't like to sunbathe (I'd like to not look wrinkled when I'm older) so my pores on my legs always showed really bad. Recently I've been getting spray tanned at a salon and also using gradual tanning lotions at home. It looks really natural as long as you dont try to go too dark and I no longer have any problems with my pores showing too much.

    Hope it helps!!!
From my own experience and friends I've found that this only happens to very light-skinned women, I don't know if you are

but my pores don't look that big after I've tanned a bit. I do use an epilator too, maybe you should try them.

    Clogged pores???

around my nose i have these rough visible pres what should i use to get them to shrink and gbecome smooth,

and i am a teenagerClogged pores???

I have had the same problem. What I did to get of them completely was go in the bathroom and turn on the shower. Put the shower on like the highest hot it can go. That will open up you pores. And I put this like pore cleanser on it and it soaked right in. It helped so much I was so happy. I hope you are too.

  • Large Pores?

I have somewhat large pores, on my nose and on my cheecks next to my nose. I don't acne or zits, just on occassion I get one. Anyways, are their any products which work to make porse smaller. Please don't say Biore Pore Minimizer unless you have used it. Only someone who HAS used a product, can you recommend me one?Large Pores?
    raw unpasteurized apple cider vinegar

to open the pores and loosen dirt and grease from your face turn off the heat from a pan of distilled water, add 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar to a quart of the hot water. drape a towel over the pan and your head to steam clean your pores. take a cotton ball, dip in vinegar and pat over skin to remove loosened dirt. repeat 2 more times. then spray or dab on chilled vinegar and equal part of distilled water to close your pores and tone your skin. do twice weekly, also can use the chilled vinegar water as a toner 2 times daily.

    it is amazing ....Large Pores?
read tips on skincare and more to help you better on this site
use an aspirin mask or queen helene mint julep mask
if u got large pores ,u can get the dirt out of them and cold water will help them to get littler for awhile

    White pores bumps?

Why does my 4 mnths old son has those white bumps on the bottom of his feet and on his legs and between?White pores bumps?
ah, now i was all set to tell you it was whiteheads and nothing to worry about as babies skin glands take a while to sort themselves out. But it sounds like your son has lots. Is he particularily sweaty/moist in these areas? could be whiteheads if so.

ask your doc if you are worried. hope someone can give you a better answer than me! I'll keep an eye out as I'm quite interested too...

    ..x..Blocked pores!!!?
don't use so many products on your face, sometimes using so many products has a bad reaction. Use a good face wash, and I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub and it works wonders on my face and body. My black/white heads and spots have been disappearing and my skin is very soft.

also make sure you use a good SPF face lotion for oily skin and a good night cream.Blocked pores!!!?
Blackheads are caused by partially blocked pores. The ';black'; appearance of them is not caused by dirt, but by the oxidising effect of air on the sebum (oil) in a blocked pore and the melanin pigment from the dead skin cells.

The best way to get rid of blackheads is to remove the cause of them 鈥?excessive sebum (oil) and dead skin cells. Use only products made with natural ingredients that are not too astringent. Harsh products can strip the skin of oil, causing it to produce more sebum which leads to more blocked pores. Don't be afraid of using cleansing products containing natural oils, such as jojoba or coconut oil to cleanse the skin. These oils are close to our natural oils, so they don't block the pores. Use a gentle exfoliating mask such as Miessence's Gentle Exfoliant every day to remove dead skin cells so they don't block pores. Just remember to be very gentle, over exfoliation can exacerbate the problem. Avoid products containing the following: alcohol, isopropyl mystate, lanolin, sodium lauryl sulphate, sodium laureth sulphate, propylene glycol, mineral oil and parabens.

Do not to try and extract them forcibly, either using your fingers, fingernails or a comedone (blackhead) remover. This can cause permanent damage to the pores and stop them working properly for ever. You may squeeze some of the blackhead out, but you could also force some of it even deeper into the skin, which may lead to infection (large spots, pimples or even cysts) or permanent damage. Touching your skin should generally be avoided to prevent cross infection.

    diet

You can help reduce the occurrence of blackheads by eating the right kinds of foods -- this will reduce sebum production, increase good moisture in the skin and help the production of new skin cells. Avoid cooked carbohydrates and fats, replace these with fresh fruits, vegetables and raw fats (avocadoes, olives, olive oil etc). Read our article of the scientific link between diet and acne for more information.

    make up

If you do wear make up, make sure any foundations and concealers are non-comedogenic and oil free so they won't block pores. Try not to apply make up if your face is sweating. Always remove your make up with a cleanser at the end of the day. Keep all your make up brushes and sponges clean. Wash them in mild shampoo once a month and let dry completely before using.

    Huge pores :(?

I have huge pores on my cheeks and nose.. I was wondering if there was any local stores that sell products that could tone it down..Huge pores :(?
You said it yourself (pretty much): toner is the way to go. Clean %26amp; Clear or Neutrogena are good drug store brands.Huge pores :(?
i'd try a clay mask - like the queen helene mint julep mask that costs only $2-3. it's available at grocery stores and larger stores like walmart. plus, at that price, you won't be wasting a ton if it doesn't give the dramatic results you are looking for. also, try a primer under your foundation (if you wear makeup) to keep it from settling in and emphasizing those pores. while clearing up bacteria and cleansing will help shrink them some, for the most part their size is determined by genetics.
those commercials about proactive call when there offering the $20 offer. This really does work. cleanse, tone medicate and if you have dry or start to have dryskin moisturize with green tea lotion.
A little bit of rubbing alcohol once a day, or once every two days depending how dry or oily your face is, should help tone it down. Washing your face daily will also help.

Toner has a lot of alcohol in it (you could buy toner if you wish), but rubbing alcohol is MUCH cheaper.
These are the masks that I use for my large pores. They look so much better since I started using these recipes.

    Papaya mask/exfoliant

Cut papaya in 1 inch chunks. Blend/mash 2 or 3 chunks and store the wrest in the freezer. Apply the blended/mashed papaya and leave on face for 10-20 min. Use 2 or 3x a week.

The papaya may tingle but that just means that the papaya is working and it is breaking down dead skin cells to give that lovely glow and since it breaks down the dead skin it clears out the pores and in turn they shrink!!! (You may not see the results you want until you use it for a while.)

    Egg white mask

    1 egg white

    1 tsp. cornstarch

Beat ingredients. Apple to face, let dry 10-15 min. Rinse.

(Tightens pores. Makes you look like you got a mini face lift!!)

    Baking soda microdermbrasion/exfoliant recipe

Make a paste with baking soda and water, then gently rub on face and rinse.

    Sea salt glow (my favorite!)

Make a paste using olive oil, fresh lemon juice or water to moisten the sea salt. Apply to face and gently rub skin, rinse.

(olive oil is good for dry or normal skin, lemon juice is better for oily or acne prone skin and water can be used for whichever.)

    Clay Facial mask

Choose the right clay for your skin type. (French-oily-acne, bentonite-normal, cosmetic or white-any, kaolinite pink-normal-combo, kaolinite white-dry-mature, kaolinite red-sensitive. Add plain water or floral waters or try wetting agents such as fruit purees . Make a thick paste of the clay. Apply the mask to your skin and let it dry for 20 minutes. Rinse well with warm water and pat dry. Repeat weekly. ( I use french clay)

You can buy some of the clays here:

    Hope this helps!!!
