CLOGGED PORES ARE IRRITATING!!!?

I have very sensitive skin so I can use alot of skin products because itll peel and burn. I have really bad clogged pores on my face...and its very obvious and nasty. I used apricot scrub but within 2 days they come back...is there any suggestion of stuff i can use or methods to get rid of clogged pores???? tnx in advanceCLOGGED PORES ARE IRRITATING!!!?
I, too had oily skin when I was young (probably from13-40, but now have younger looking skin than most of my peers, so hang in there, there are benefits to having oily skin!) and was plagued by blackheads. The reason your pores appear black is because your pores release sebaceous oils from the sebaceous gland and when that oil hits the air and the dust in it, it oxidizes and turns dark or ';black';. so to speak. Using a scrub just takes the 'surface' oil out of the pore.

Use a cleansing bar like Dove, which is not soap ( Soap can leave behind a residue or film which can build up), witch hazel(it has low alcohol) as a light astringent/toner and depending how oily your skin is(beyond the T-zone), MAYBE a moisturizer, without wax and the first ingredient is ALWAYS water and NOT mineral oil. If your skin is very oily, DO NOT use a moisturizer, it is NOT necessary. The oil on your skin helps to retain your own moisture. Don't let salespoeple try to sell you a moisturizer, it will just clog up those pores. I was told this by a leading dermatologist in my community....

2. Also drink plenty of water...that keeps your skin hydrated and your body internally cleansed.

3. Get oil-blotting tissues...you can find then in beauty supply stores, to help reduce shininess and the surface oil build-up.

CLEANSE, HYDRATE and BLOT...it will help reduce the blackheads ad keep your pores clearer, but you must be diligent about it.CLOGGED PORES ARE IRRITATING!!!?
Do an exfoliating scrub no more than twice a week and follow with a noncodmogenic moisturizer, with an SPF. (Actually, you should moisturize every single morning.) Wash your face twice a day with a mild soap-free cleanser. (I recommend something from Aveeno.) Always condition your hair BEFORE you wash your face in the shower. (Most conditioners have additives which will clog pores on your face.) And use a good toner before you go to bed. Only use acne treatments on pimples, not all over your face, unless your doctor tells you to. And finally, if your have that kind of skin, you will always be prone to clogged pores, you can only hope to manage them with over the counter products. You will never eradicate them completely, without the help of a good dermatologist. I know, I'm the same way. Good luck.
everyone has different skin so some products might not work on you...But you could try proactive. Or you could go to a spa or your dermatologist and try getting a microdermabrasion. Steaming helps open up your pores, and there's a product called zeno that zaps pimples with heat. but if you dont want to order something or you're on a budget you could try clean%26amp;clear, neutrogena, clearasil, biore or other acne products that you could get from wal-mart for 10 dollars or less.
I use the apricot scrub, the WAVE by neutrogena, clean and clear moisturizer in the mornings, and this over the counter medicine called campho phenique. It is for bug bites and stuff, but it works WONDERS on blemishes, if thats your problem. =] good luck.
i MEt a german woman who cleaned up my acne she told me to forget the brush i use(body shop facial brush) and to forget scrubs cause it kind of rips up your skin. (use on your feet she told me)! ive been acne free for years now and can tell u they sell that stuff for unknown reasons. u may need a good facial lady. try the health food store to help u. THINK gentle natural approaches. forget harsh methods.
Have you tried Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub? I use it every day and it seems to do the trick. It's not perfect, so every now and then I do a Queen Helene mud mask which really clears the pores.
clearisil, it was inexpensive and worked better than proactiv for me, and i have sensitive skin too, it made my face a little dry but not as bad as other acne treatments
you could try some of them strips that rip them out theydont hurt and are quite cheap or you could scub your face with a olive oil suger scrub which doesnt clog pores but unblocks them and the olive oil sooths your skin
steam your face and when your pores are open, use aveeno ultra calming face wash, it should help
You just have to wash your face everyday. So do the apricot thing every week, and wash your face before you go to bed, and right after you wake up in the morning, use mild soaps for your face :)

use hot water when washing it, then cold water to clean your face.

The hot opens pores to clean it out, the cold closes them :)

hope i helped :)
