Pores getting bigger?

someone told me if you open up pores then use a deep pore cleansing treatment then close them with cold water and then use moisturiser on the pores they get bigger is this true?Pores getting bigger?

your pores don't actually move, or expand or any of that rubbish. its all a myth. just like dragons. pores only appear bigger when they saggy from old age or are full of gunk or... because you have really damaged skin. but cold water doesn't open your pores or close them and neither does hot water
