okay i have really big pores and you can like tell i have black heads what do you guys use to get rid of them???? like do i wash my face with something is there anything i could make at home or what?????? thanks ??OMG HUDGE pores?
start off by washing your face twice a day you can use a scrub made for poors and black heads neutrogena makes good products bior茅 also
you might want go see a dermatologist they have saved my faceOMG HUDGE pores?
get a facial, they will rid blackheads.
be warned if you do it alot, it will lose effect.
but if you do it every 3 months you should be good
Wash face morning and night. Use a scrub twice a week, concentrating on your problem areas. Try a mud mask once a week. And after getting out of the hot shower or washing face with warm water you can sqeeze them. (make sure not to scratch skin though) you should not bleed with a blackhead.
huge pores suck. use a cleanser daily, but instead of drying your face an not thinking much about it, get and ice cube and rub it all along your face until it melts. open pores are what cause acne. it gives a chance for your pores to become dirty. especially at night. and maby try a good facial mask and wear it to sleep. just a thought. good luck!
you can squeeze the black heads out thought they might bleed

Do your pores ever go away?
seriously do they ever go awayDo your pores ever go away?
no, that is how your body gets rid of sweat. why do you want to get rid of them anyway?Do your pores ever go away?
I have been using the Avon microdermabrasion for one week for my pores and I'm already getting compliments. But, I'm a skeptic by nature so I'll give it a few weeks and hope it will make my pores shrink nad have more youthful skin. So you can give that a try.
Your pores are part of your skin's structure. They will never go away, and you wouldn't want them to, as they allow you to sweat and cool yourself. You can minimize them, but never rid yourself of them. Everyone has them, so don't worry.
nope everyone has em, but some ppl have them bigger than others, also you can get them to appear smaller by using a variety of face cleansers, creams. you should try Origins line of Modern Friction.
absolutely not thats like asking if your eyes ever go away but there apperance can be minimized =]
Nope they are with you forever.
Good luck,
Sophia

Clogged Pores?????
I'M OVER 50 AND DAILY, MY LARGE POURS ON MY NOSE FILL AND I HAVE TO PUSH OUT GOBS OF WHITE STUFF. IF YOU JUST TOUCH MY NOSE IT WILL RELEASE THE WHITE STUFF TOO. I'M SO GROSSED OUT. THIS HAS BE HAPPENING FOR YEARS.
I AM OILY AND REALLY ONLY WASH MY FACE 1 OR SOMETIMES TWICE A DAY. I ALWAYS HAD BAD ACNE WHEN I WAS YOUNG, AND I STILL GET BLACKHEADS, BUT NOTHING LIKE THE CLOGGED POURS THAT I DEAL WITH EVERYDAY. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME???Clogged Pores?????
seek professional help!!! they'll know what to do.Clogged Pores?????
Try steaming open your pores, by filling a bowl with water and then putting a towel over your hear so that the steam doesn't escape, after you have steamed open your pores, clean them with an instant foaming cleanser, i like Caudalie. Then close your pores by rinsing your face in ice water.
Clogged pores are caused by a build up of dead skin cells which often stick to dry skin, so I also suggest using a moisturizer one a week, be sure to find one specifically for use on your face.
There are also some great buffing creams that are on the market that may help.
Also, drinking carrot juice will clear and prevent any blackheads or breakouts that result form having clogged pores.

2) Do any of these products contain gluten?

TARGETED SOLUTIONS
1) I have dark circles and puffiness under my eyes – are there products that can help correct these?
There are two products that will address your concerns:
UNDER-EYE BRIGHTENING CREAM visibly lightens dark circles with haloxyl de-pigmenting peptide and vitamin C skin-brightening complex. Our formula has been clinically proven to instantly brighten with optical diffusers and to visibly lighten dark circles.
DE-PUFF EYE GEL quickly reduces visible under-eye bags and puffiness with fortified yeast complex. Our formulation has been clinically proven to reduce the appearance of under-eye puffiness and firms the sink around the eye area.
2) Will these products help fade my scars and/or pigmentation?
SPOT DAMAGE LIGHTENING SERUM is a concentrated complex that rolls right onto problem areas for targeted fast repair and a more even complexion. It diminishes age spots with 2% hydroquinone – dermatology’s most effective skin lightener.
This used in conjuction with our SKIN BRIGHTENING DAILY MOISTURIZER SPF30, and daily exfoliation with either our EXFOLIATING GLYCO PEEL SYSTEM or our RESURFACING MICROBRASION TREATMENT will provide maximum benefit.
USAGE
1) Can these products be applied around the eyes and mouth?
Refer to the individual product information for detail usage instruction and precautions. Those that cannot be applied around the eyes or mouth are clearly marked.
2) Do I have to put the products on in a particular order?
The treatment routine is based on the four step process of “cleanse. exfoliate. restore. moisturize”. The MMPI SKIN REGENERATING SERUM is almost always applied after the exfoliation process and before moisturizing. (Exception: for those with Acne-Prone Skin, the MMPI SKIN REGENERATING SERUM should be applied at night after using the ACNOSTAT™ OVERNIGHT ACNE REPAIR LOTION).
3) Should the moisturizer be put on before or after applying foundation?
A moisturizer should be applied before your foundation.
4) Should a man shave before or after he uses the regimen and how long should he wait?
It depends on which exfoliating system he uses. For the RESURFACING MICROBRASION SYSTEM, use Step 1 (Resurfacing Cream) prior to shaving to soften the beard, and loosen ingrown hairs. Shave and follow with Step 2 (Intensive Hydrator). For the EXFOLIATING GLYCO PEEL SYSTEM, use in the evening when not shaving, so that freshly exfoliated skin is not exposed to the 10% glycolic ingredient.
5) For the Acne regimen, in what order should the products be used?

ACNOSTAT™ DAILY ACNE CLEANSER
MMPI SKIN REGENERATING SERUM
OIL-FREE HYDRATOR SPF 30

6) Is it normal when starting the system or using a product in the system to experience dryness, breakouts, red spots, or a pinking of the skin? If so, when should that go away or how long should I continue using the products?
Any significant change in you skin care routine can result in transient changes in your skin as it adjusts. These products have been extensively tested for safety and are not expected to result in adverse skin reactions under “use as directed” conditions. As with any performance skin care product, there may be a small number of individuals who do not tolerate its use. In those instances, we suggest that you discontinue use if irritation develops and persists.
7) How soon should I expect to see results?
Clinical results are product dependant. Refer to your product information for details. Although individual results may vary, clinical testing has shown that visible results are expected within 4 weeks of use on the average. Consistent use of the products for longer periods is expected to result in further improvement. However, if you find that our products have not met your needs, we will be happy to accommodate you with our money-back guarantee.
8) Is there an age recommendation for these products or is it made for both teen and adult skin?
These products were clinically tested with healthy adults, aged 18 and up.

Clogged Pores????......?
what would be the best facial cleanser to buy for clogged pores, that will minimize them as well...And a good moisturizer that wont cause break outs??Clogged Pores????......?
First of all, I suggest that you go see a Dermatologist so they can tell you what is the best to use for your skin type. My doctor told me to use Cetaphil Facial Cleanser and the Cetaphil Facial Lotion with Sunscreen SPF 15 along with it both can be found at a pharmacy drug store. The Cetaphil Facial Cleanser (which has been working great for me, my skin has not been dry and has cleared up since I have stopped using all the other big brands), is very gental and cleanses the pores without any harsh chemicals. it is created by the same company that makes the prescription acne gel Differin (which the Dermatologist suggests to use along with the Cetaphil Facial Cleanser if you have an acne problem). she told me to NOT use store brands that claim to fight acne and all of that like neutrogena, st. ives, ponds, loreal, clearsil, etc. because they all over dry the skin and causes the pores to over produce oils which causes the pores to clog up even more and cause acne. that's how they sell the product...your skin keeps clogging up, therefore you keep buying it.Clogged Pores????......?
I've found that alot of daily scrubs are very irritating because most of them have glycolic acid, which dries out your skin. One that I found that works and doesn't irritate is (Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Scrub 5oz for about $8). Aveeno also has very good daily moisturizers depending on your skin type and how much spf you want. If you find the daily scrubs to harsh, you can always try exfoliating once a week. For the once a week routine I love (Mary Kay Microdermabrasion step 1 $30). The beads are so fine and leave your skin sooo... soft! I could have been a little more specific on my moisturizer advice, but not knowing your skin type makes it difficult. Sorry!!! I hope the rest helps.
well. first of all, before you wash your face, you need to open up your pores to get the deepest clean you can. you do this by Boiling water, and putting your face above the steam for about 10 minutes. don't get too close to the water though, don't burn yourself. that opens up your pores. and wash %26amp; mosturize with pro active!!! i know its expensive, but it reallllllllllyyyyyyyy works! trust me! and only do the hot water thing about once a week.
simple: you can clean your pores yourself...
start with clean skin.
step 1. fill bowl with very warm water...
place bowl on towel on a table.
with another towel..make a tent over your head and hold your face near the bowl...for about 10 minutes
your skin will now be soft enough to clean.
with clean hands, gently press your pores...do not squeeze hard...you just need gentle pressure.
no squeezing near your temples....
only your forehead area, chin, cheek and nose.
do this weekly.
since your pores clog, you don't need a moisturizer..your natural oils are sufficient.
remember to keep your hands clean for extractions and keep face washed 2-3 times a day.

I have been using Arbonne - Re9 anti aging line.
They also make a regime for younger people (18-30)
I have samples of both if you are interested to see if it helps or your face loves it.
When you find a regime that works, stick to it or during trying out something give it a little time.
Each one of the above I have has a mask to try out.
Also be careful of the make up you use. All natural and a mineral based foundation is best -
I like Aveeno Daily Radiance Cleansing Pads and Murad AHA/BHA facial wash. Aveeno is the best bargain - 30 pads for about $7. One side is smooth %26amp; the other is texturized for exfoliation. Murad runs about $30 so I use it sparingly.
Neutrogena makes some good face masks - one is a clay mask w/ benzoyl peroxide and one is a gel mask w/ salicylic acid. I can recommend the clay mask but haven't tried the gel mask yet.
Haven't found a great moisturizer yet. Clinique's basic yellow moisturizer is good but pricey. The gift w/ purchase promotions kinda help justify the expense a little.
I have clogged pores so i use acne free it say on the box better that proactive i think it works GREAT!so u can buy this pack that is only 19.99 it comes with face scrub which is step 1 and toner step 2 lotion step 3 and this zit stuff step for and it will last u like 2 months i love and u can buy it in wal mart target k mart and places like that so hope u try it and if u try it hope it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have always had a problem with acne. I have really large pores and I'm very proned to blackheads. I don't mean to sound lame, but PROACTIV really works. It's about $40 for a 3 month supply and worth it. 3 steps, (1) facial scrub cleanser (2) pore refining toner (3) repairing lotion. Easy! Works great. I've heard that Wal-Mart has their own brand and works just as great. But I stick to the sure thing cause it works for me. You can buy pore refining toners in just about any cosmetic isle. This is what you need. It shrinks your pores but will dry out your face if you don't use something else with it.
Medicated Acne line from Bee-Luscious Cosmetics the foam wash and minimizing toner are incredible products and I highly recommend them. Its on beeroyalproducts.com
Usually I used a clay mask to suck bad stuff out of my pores. I've been using a pretty good Alpha Hydroxy mask from Walgreens, I believe that's also the brand name of the mask. I maintain healthy pores by cleansing my makeup off entirely with MACs Cleanse Off Oil then following with a mild soap like Dove to remove the residue. Steaming your face with a store bought device (bed bath and beyond!) works too.

Large nose pores after Biore Strip.?
So I used a scrub first (to loosen the pores), then used a biore nose strip. The strip ripped out lots white gunk (I think it's called black heads).
But now, my nose has pin sized holes on it. My pores I think are just so streched out by black heads I pulled out that they're staying open.
I tried an ice cube, witch-hazel, and cold water. But it still persists.
Any other way to close the pores? I heard egg whites might work.Large nose pores after Biore Strip.?
Unfortunately, there is no way to permanently shrink large pores. The good news is that the appearance of large pores can be greatly reduced in a number of ways. For example, cleansing the pores of debris, excess oil, and bacteria will significantly reduce their prominence. This can be achieved by using a low-strength topical medication or face wash containing retinol or vitamin C. These antioxidants help the skin increase collagen and elastin production while simultaneously loosening dirt and oil from the pores.
Exfoliation is also key to minimizing the appearance of large pores. This can be accomplished using an at-home facial scrub or by visiting a spa or dermatologist for a microdermabrasion treatment. Microdermabrasion is a special type of facial that gently scrubs off the dead surface lawyer of the skin, revealing softer, healthier skin beneath.Large nose pores after Biore Strip.?
You do not need to worry, the whole point of the strip is to take out all the gunk. By putting all that stuff on your nose, it is just making it worse because the pores are already open and now you're INSERTING gunk into them.
Try using them before bed, and then going to sleep. By morning, your ';holes'; will be gone.
differin does not work.
if u have potlike holes on ur face..theres really no way to get rid of em
but maybe if u go to ur dermatologist they can give u tips on how to make em seem smaller

Seriously...does Preparation H really help shrink large pores?
I would not use preparation-h for anything other than the area that it's intended for. I had used it many years ago for my eczema to no avail as it did not help, and a chemist told me that prep-h has mercury in it (at least back then) and that it's only safe for it's original purpose since there is so much bacteria in that bottom area, that it wouldn't matter. Needless to say that I stopped using the ointment (ointment is supposed to absorb into the skin quicker as per a pharmacist, just fyi) for my hands that day :) I don't know if anything will permanently shrink pores but perhaps glycolic products on the shelves in cosmetic stores such as Alpha Hydrox can help the appearance of them. Perhaps you can ask a (board-certified) dermatologist.make up tips

Large Pores?
My skin is clear but I have large pores, are there any products I can use to make them look smaller. I am getting married in 8 months and don't want them to be noticeable.Large Pores?
well biore has a line that works pretty well (it's called pore minimizing) and mix in a blender an unripe tomato, 1/2 tbs. honey, and a pinch of salt, and use it as a face maskLarge Pores?
try going to get a facial. That should help and also they can recommend some stuff that would be really helpful specific for your skin type and how sensitive your skin may be.
Good luck with the pores and the wedding--congrats!
The best thing i've found is Artistry's Pore Cleansing Masque. I had huge pores on my nose and cheeks and this really shrunk them down to size. My make up looks so much better going on. It's really easy too because it's a masque that you rinse off instead of peeling. It's actually guarenteed to work or they'll give you a full refund. If you keep using it you will definatley not have anything to worry about by the time your Wedding get's here (Congratulations by the way) You can't get it in stores but you can get it at http://www.adrennan.qhealthbeauty.com I hope this helped to answer your question :)
Biore pore minimizing cleanser (warming mask is great)...any biore products, really.
have you ever tried a retinol? green cram is the highest strength retinol you can buy without a prescription. it can be hard to find but you can order it online. it has made a huge difference in my pores as well as skin tone and fine lines...and it lasts unlike products that are temporary such as biore (even tho i do like biore). it is really a wonderful product. a little pricy, but worth it. one thing i would recommend is to start soon if you want a difference in 8 months. it takes time to totally change your skin and you will probably go thru an adjustment period where you may peel or breakout if you are acne prone. again, check out the website www.greencream.com. they have a great blog for any questions you may have. kevin is awesome!

Blocked pores!!!?
its weird, but i dont know how it happened. i have blocked pores around the lines of my lips. like, the line where the skin of my lips reach the skin of my face - the pores are clogged. what can i do to get rid of them and does anyone know exactly what could have caused it?Blocked pores!!!?
the pores around your lips may be clogged because of the lip mosturizer you use on your lips eg. lip gloss, lip balm, vaseline etc...... maybe to stop them being clogged you should changes whatever it is that use on your lips to somthing lighter of non-comogenic... meaning somthing that you can use that does not clog you poes...
hope this helps
good luck!

I don't know what could cause it but I recently found a miracle product that works to unclog pores!! Are you ready for this.... hand sanitizer!!!! I know it sounds crazy but my arms used to have clogged pores/hair follicles, and I started putting anti-bacterial hand stuff on them and they were different over night!!! If that doesn't work then the DR. can prescribe some anti-bacterial face wash that will clean your pores... in my experiences the hand sanitizer works just the same!! Good luck!!
GO TO THE DEMOTOLOGIEST OR GO TO WAL-MART AND GET SOME ASTRIGENT CALLED SEA BREEZE IT IS FOUND IN THE MAKE-UP AND BIKINI WAX ASLES..THIS WILL GIVE YOU A NICE STIMULATING TIGGLE BUT WILLN'T HURT THE SKIN..........THANKX HAVE A GREAT DAY GAH!!:)
U MAY BE ALLERGIC TO THE LOTION U R USING. IF U USE VASELINE OR SOME SORT OF GREASE....DONT!!!
THAT CLOGS UP YOUR PORES AND CAUSES BREAKOUTS. IF UR BREAKOUTS R REALLY BAD, DNT GET PROACTIVE. ITS REALLY STRONG ND CAN CAUSE REDNESS. CLEAN AND CLEAR IS NOT AS STRONG AND WORKS MIRACLES. IF U CANT AFFORD THAT THEN U CAN USE A HOME REMEDY LIKE MILK AND SUGAR..
I HOPE THIS HELPED.

Hair pores on legs extremely visible.........even after shaving!!!!?
NEED HELP!!! I have great legs but hate to wear anything that shows them. I have tried waxing, shaving, hair removal creams, etc. No matter how smooth my legs are, the hair pores are real visible. Does anyone have this problem and has found a solution? If so, I NEED YOUR ADVICE!!!Hair pores on legs extremely visible.........even after shaving!!!!?
I haev the same prob i have huge one s well what i do and it works is i use just cold cold water and shave like that.. as long as you keep alot of water on it it will not give you shaving marks...
It works b/c my friend told me about it and i used it the day of my prom and it worked goodHair pores on legs extremely visible.........even after shaving!!!!?
i take it your dark complected too? or remotely tan. I have this too and never really understood what the deal is with it. I can say that sunning helps, but what really seems to make them less visible is daily exfoliating and gradual self tanner covers them and evens the appearance of your skin color. It is just part of your skin, you probably have them everywhere but since you shave you see them mostly on your legs.
I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. Like you, I've tried all different kinds of hair removal methods thinking it was the cause. What I've discovered is that exfoliating really helps AND tanning. I don't like to lay out in the sun or use tanning beds because I don't want the ';leathery'; look when I get older. So, I use a tanning lotion at home. You can also get a really good spray tan at a salon. I've noticed the pores are hardly visible now. Good luck!
I'm naturally very pale and don't like to sunbathe (I'd like to not look wrinkled when I'm older) so my pores on my legs always showed really bad. Recently I've been getting spray tanned at a salon and also using gradual tanning lotions at home. It looks really natural as long as you dont try to go too dark and I no longer have any problems with my pores showing too much.
Hope it helps!!!
From my own experience and friends I've found that this only happens to very light-skinned women, I don't know if you are
but my pores don't look that big after I've tanned a bit. I do use an epilator too, maybe you should try them.

I have had the same problem. What I did to get of them completely was go in the bathroom and turn on the shower. Put the shower on like the highest hot it can go. That will open up you pores. And I put this like pore cleanser on it and it soaked right in. It helped so much I was so happy. I hope you are too.

I've cleared up several acne problem skin with the Intelligence line from ARBONNE. It works like no other and is pure safe Swiss and botanical.Arbonne goes underneath the skin to work with our saviors glands to cleanse them out and leave your skin smooth and soft and it minimizes your pores. Arbonne is made by the top skin care chemist in the world and think about a weed in the garden if you took scissors and cut the top off what would happen? This is like what other treatments do i don't care what their name is, and what the difference is we go to the root of the problem like you would that weed to pull it out and get rid of it. You can get this off my website by clicking on my profile and if you don't good luck to you. Your welcome.

Please don't say Biore Pore Minimizer unless you have used it. Only someone who HAS used a product, can you recommend me one?Large Pores?

White pores bumps?
Why does my 4 mnths old son has those white bumps on the bottom of his feet and on his legs and between?White pores bumps?
ah, now i was all set to tell you it was whiteheads and nothing to worry about as babies skin glands take a while to sort themselves out. But it sounds like your son has lots. Is he particularily sweaty/moist in these areas? could be whiteheads if so.
ask your doc if you are worried. hope someone can give you a better answer than me! I'll keep an eye out as I'm quite interested too...

Blocked pores!!!?
i have block pores, sometimes they are black heads, but mostly white heads, there not big spots but i have a few of them on my t zone, i can never get rid of them, ive got rid of my acne from the pill though.
i wash my face twice a day use several spot treatments and use different ones on different days.
what else can i do, does anyone have the same problem? ive tryed steaming but it brings out more!
thanks =)
..x..Blocked pores!!!?
don't use so many products on your face, sometimes using so many products has a bad reaction. Use a good face wash, and I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub and it works wonders on my face and body. My black/white heads and spots have been disappearing and my skin is very soft.
also make sure you use a good SPF face lotion for oily skin and a good night cream.Blocked pores!!!?
Blackheads are caused by partially blocked pores. The ';black'; appearance of them is not caused by dirt, but by the oxidising effect of air on the sebum (oil) in a blocked pore and the melanin pigment from the dead skin cells.
The best way to get rid of blackheads is to remove the cause of them 鈥?excessive sebum (oil) and dead skin cells. Use only products made with natural ingredients that are not too astringent. Harsh products can strip the skin of oil, causing it to produce more sebum which leads to more blocked pores. Don't be afraid of using cleansing products containing natural oils, such as jojoba or coconut oil to cleanse the skin. These oils are close to our natural oils, so they don't block the pores. Use a gentle exfoliating mask such as Miessence's Gentle Exfoliant every day to remove dead skin cells so they don't block pores. Just remember to be very gentle, over exfoliation can exacerbate the problem. Avoid products containing the following: alcohol, isopropyl mystate, lanolin, sodium lauryl sulphate, sodium laureth sulphate, propylene glycol, mineral oil and parabens.
Do not to try and extract them forcibly, either using your fingers, fingernails or a comedone (blackhead) remover. This can cause permanent damage to the pores and stop them working properly for ever. You may squeeze some of the blackhead out, but you could also force some of it even deeper into the skin, which may lead to infection (large spots, pimples or even cysts) or permanent damage. Touching your skin should generally be avoided to prevent cross infection.
diet
You can help reduce the occurrence of blackheads by eating the right kinds of foods -- this will reduce sebum production, increase good moisture in the skin and help the production of new skin cells. Avoid cooked carbohydrates and fats, replace these with fresh fruits, vegetables and raw fats (avocadoes, olives, olive oil etc). Read our article of the scientific link between diet and acne for more information.
make up
If you do wear make up, make sure any foundations and concealers are non-comedogenic and oil free so they won't block pores. Try not to apply make up if your face is sweating. Always remove your make up with a cleanser at the end of the day. Keep all your make up brushes and sponges clean. Wash them in mild shampoo once a month and let dry completely before using.

Huge pores :(?
I have huge pores on my cheeks and nose.. I was wondering if there was any local stores that sell products that could tone it down..Huge pores :(?
You said it yourself (pretty much): toner is the way to go. Clean %26amp; Clear or Neutrogena are good drug store brands.Huge pores :(?
i'd try a clay mask - like the queen helene mint julep mask that costs only $2-3. it's available at grocery stores and larger stores like walmart. plus, at that price, you won't be wasting a ton if it doesn't give the dramatic results you are looking for. also, try a primer under your foundation (if you wear makeup) to keep it from settling in and emphasizing those pores. while clearing up bacteria and cleansing will help shrink them some, for the most part their size is determined by genetics.
those commercials about proactive call when there offering the $20 offer. This really does work. cleanse, tone medicate and if you have dry or start to have dryskin moisturize with green tea lotion.
A little bit of rubbing alcohol once a day, or once every two days depending how dry or oily your face is, should help tone it down. Washing your face daily will also help.
Toner has a lot of alcohol in it (you could buy toner if you wish), but rubbing alcohol is MUCH cheaper.
These are the masks that I use for my large pores. They look so much better since I started using these recipes.
Papaya mask/exfoliant
Cut papaya in 1 inch chunks. Blend/mash 2 or 3 chunks and store the wrest in the freezer. Apply the blended/mashed papaya and leave on face for 10-20 min. Use 2 or 3x a week.
The papaya may tingle but that just means that the papaya is working and it is breaking down dead skin cells to give that lovely glow and since it breaks down the dead skin it clears out the pores and in turn they shrink!!! (You may not see the results you want until you use it for a while.)
Egg white mask
1 egg white
1 tsp. cornstarch
Beat ingredients. Apple to face, let dry 10-15 min. Rinse.
(Tightens pores. Makes you look like you got a mini face lift!!)
Baking soda microdermbrasion/exfoliant recipe
Make a paste with baking soda and water, then gently rub on face and rinse.
Sea salt glow (my favorite!)
Make a paste using olive oil, fresh lemon juice or water to moisten the sea salt. Apply to face and gently rub skin, rinse.
(olive oil is good for dry or normal skin, lemon juice is better for oily or acne prone skin and water can be used for whichever.)
Clay Facial mask
Choose the right clay for your skin type. (French-oily-acne, bentonite-normal, cosmetic or white-any, kaolinite pink-normal-combo, kaolinite white-dry-mature, kaolinite red-sensitive. Add plain water or floral waters or try wetting agents such as fruit purees . Make a thick paste of the clay. Apply the mask to your skin and let it dry for 20 minutes. Rinse well with warm water and pat dry. Repeat weekly. ( I use french clay)
You can buy some of the clays here:

Well I dont know about products. But I wash my face with warm water (almost hot) then i rinse it with really cold water then I rub my face with ice.

Large pores?
I use facial masks for blackhead which I used to have really badly...but they are improving. But I have noticed that when the blackheads come out there's a hole left where it was and it takes a really long time to go away. What can I use to shrink the pore? Natural things that I can make usually work best for me but if you dont know of any then store boughten ones are fine too. thank you.Large pores?
Step 1 - Cleanse the face thoroughly with a good cleanser meant for oily skin. Preferrably use a salicylic acid cleanser such as this one, Joey NY Pure Pores Cleansing Gel to get rid of blackheads
Step 2 - Apply an astringent. It helps reduce oiliness. If its a bit harsh mix a bit of rose water in it. You can find some good astringents at Greatskin.com ( Just type ';astringent'; in the search product box).
Step 3 - Apply a good quality medicated cream or gel containing resorcinol, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. This helps is soaking the oil and helps in peeling away the blackheads. You can get creams or gels of Benzoyl Peroxide treating blackheads If benzoyl peroxide leaves your skin dry, apply an oil-free moisturizer after 10 mins of applying benzoyl peroxide.Large pores?
rub a ice cube on it and then wash your face again make sure to scrub use toner and lotion
Artistry has a really great pore cleansing masque that does a great job at shrinking pores. I had huge pores and this really made a difference for me. All of the ingredients are natural and it's completely guarenteed to work or they'll give you a full refund. You can't buy it in stores but you can get it at http://www.adrennan.qhealthbeauty.com It will ship right to your door which is even better :)

okay so i kinda have bad acne but i have a lot of tiny little pores on my nose and all around my face i need to get rid of atleast half of them before august 10th
pleasssssse hellpp
and i need inexpensive ideasAcne...pores..ahhhhh?
There is this soap thing that realy help me with my acne. Its called Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash. You can get it at Wal-Mart, and its cheap!Acne...pores..ahhhhh?
My friend had the same problem and swears by Proactiv, which is moderately priced and ordered through mail. I would advise you to get on a strict skin care regime that includes a cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Neutrogena has a pore reducing that is awesome! Then, try a home microderm abrasion, you will use it every three days or so (Mary Kay's is great!). Good luck!
Beauticontrol has an amazing product called All Clear Acne System and I have not met one person that hasn't had success with it. I have only heard wonderful praises about the products and have even seen the results for myself. I buy mine at www.beautipage.com/jwhittey. Let me know if you have any questions
Home treatments are better choices since they won't irritate your skin more.

Clogged pores?????
I have acne prone skin, and usually get pimples every once in a while. But now I ave noticed that my pores are very clogged and I am noticing blackheads spreading all over my face very rapidly. What can I do to make my skin clear and soft again? PLEASE HELP ME !Clogged pores?????
At the end of every shower I turn the water on super cold and stand under it for a second. Your skin will be clean and then the cold water closes up the pores, so its harder for them to get clogged. Its worked for me...worth a try, and saves money!Clogged pores?????
Unclog your pores by using finely ground walnut shells in order to exfoliate your skin. It works the best. Just don't scrub too hard!
Also make sure that you keep your fingers away from the breakout spots otherwise the bacteria will find a way in your pores and start up some bad stuff!!
You could also use an extractor to squeeze out your blackheads/whiteheads without having to worry about introducing bacteria into your pores (as long as you sanitize it).
Good luck!
try Australian Bush Flower Essences sometimes body's elimination system it not up to par and then the ABFE Purifying essences is the one to try. You can combine this with Face Hand and body Cream (for night time wear) wash with Physoderm or Clinique gel skin cleanser in the morning.

Acne runs in the genes, it's genetic. You can't make it go away. What you can do is eat healthily (lots of vegies), dilute regularly (water and fluids), and wash your face twice a day with, for instance, Bioderm. Which is a dermatalogically suited skin-care product.
A) see a dermatologist
B) dont scrub your face too hard, this will bother your skin even more
C) relax.. sometimes stress causes breakouts!!

Large pores?? ? ?
i had oily skin then starting using proactiv and the oil control. my skin isnt as oily anymore but i still have large pores! i sometimes squeeze them to make the black dots go away and yellow stuff comes out..Large pores?? ? ?
if yellow stuff is coming out then it isn't just large pores,it's blackheads. If you can get the stuff out and keep the inside of the pores clean afterwards then they should shrink, but getting it all out is the hard part!Large pores?? ? ?
If u make some warm camomile tea and dip in some cotton wool put that on them, hold it for a minute. Use paper tissue to cover your fingertips then squeeze it. Only use a bit of pressure. Only squeeze it deflates never squeeze until it bleeds. Then put on some tea-tree oil.
i have really large pores too... and im not sure how to get rid of them :S... but i dnt want to buy proactive ... so how do i make them go down :S

Which hotel suite in S'pore has a private glass lift, which allows dining in it?
Read it in the 8Days magazine a few years back. I'm planning to use this suite as part of my proposal plan to my gf in Nov. I have tried calling almost all hotels in Singapore, but all said they do not have such a suite.
Another friend of mine mentioned she has read it in Women's Weekly as well, so I'm pretty sure it exist. Anyone came across it as well?Which hotel suite in S'pore has a private glass lift, which allows dining in it?

All I could find was this restaurant which has a private dining room with its own lift:

For hotels in Singapore, try searching here as it has the widest selection and if you look at the most expensive listed you just may find it:

Pan Pacific Singapore Resort , the name of the restaurant is Hai Tien Lo and its on the 37th floor of the hotel.
Try cable car dining at Sentosa. Its the same idea. A stupid gimick.

Large pores?
I have really large pores on and next to my nose. Other than that my skin is good.
What's a great (and mean *great*) product that can help to shrink pores?
Any at-home concoctions would be great too =)Large pores?
my aunt says you should wash your face really well with really really warm water, because i guess the heat of the water opens up your pores more and you wash your face really good to cleanse them. ((try a biore pore face wash)) and then stick your face in something really really cold ((she said ice/ icewater)) so your pores can close shut.
i tried it once, it does work, but its wayy too weird and scary to put your face in ice. lol.Large pores?
Your pores probably look large because you are using products with an alcohol or sulfate base that dry your skin out and cause your pores to work overtime to re-produce the oils it needs, thus enlarging them. Try a natural soap like the ones at Bubble Shack: www.bubbleshackhawaii.com
They are all great for acne prone skin and for daily use. They're organic, free of drying chemicals, hypo-allergenic and 100% vegan. And they have really cool Hawaiian scents.
The first thing is to make sure to clear out your pores; they're like a paper bag - if nothing's in there they will shrink up (to a degree), but if clogged they will expand and look bigger. To unclog pores, exfoliate often and use a salicylic or glycolic acid based toner. There are also purifying masks or night treatments you can use 1-2 times a week to help. Check out these product lines: DDF, Dr. Brandt Skincare (great!) or Neutrogena for a Wal-Mart brand. Also, MD Skincare and Murad have great product lines just for large pores. The next best thing is to use a primer under your makeup - you can apply this only where you have issues with large pores. This will help fill in the pores (like a polymer filler) and make them far less noticeable. The best is Perricone Ceramic Skin Smoother (new product) or Smashbox Photo Finish primer.. All these are available at Sephora or ULTA type retailers. Also, be sure to keep the skin mattifyed (blot if you get oily) - the oil will make them appear larger. Give it a try and you will have good results before you know it!
egg whites - put the raw egg white on the area you're unhappy with, let it dry for several minutes, rinse off. follow with a light moisturizer, and preferably sunscreen.
It might not be a good idea to use 'at home concoctions' for you skin. It seems to me you have a combination skin. Pore refining masks, cleansers, toners and moisterizers are best to use for this problem. Remember to Mask once per week, Scub twice per week, Cleanse, Tone and moisterize twice each day. Drink a lot of water to help rehydrate skin. A vitamin C serum is also a good choice for refining pores.
These are the masks that I use for my large pores. They look really good since I started using these recipes.
Papaya mask/exfoliant (My favorite!!)

What can you use for large deep pores? I have oily skin!Large pores?
Use Pore plasters to get rid off them.. Wash ur face with water often. I guess by using pore plaster 2-3 times a week for a certain period of time will make it all disappear..Large pores?
Refer this site which i think, would fulfill ur needs.
use glysal... it will tighten your pores and make your skin less prone to breakouts... i have oily skin too and my pores became smaller because i used glysal
pore plasters dont work for me just use a rough facial scrum like st ives place it on your nose for about 5 min and scrumb it or scratch ur nose gently it will all come off hey i do it and it works really well :)
Abrasive scrub with warm water until red then squeeze then use toner or witch hazel to close up the pores.

Large pores?!?!?
I'm only 14 and I already have some large pores on my nose. My skin gets really oily sometimes, so that might be the reason. But what can I do to make them smaller? Is it even possible to make them smaller? Please give me advice. Thanks.Large pores?!?!?
There is no way to permanently shrink pores. You can minimize their appearance by keeping your pores clear and reducing oiliness.
Clay masks absorb oils %26amp; temporarily tighten pores. Beauty w/o Cruelty's clay mask is a good bargain. Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask is another good one - it has benzoyl peroxide %26amp; clay; works best as a mask.
Some home remedies:
Aspirin will promote cell turnover %26amp; keep pores clear. Crush 4 - 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask. Or mix them with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask or aloe vera gel instead of water. Apply a thin layer to your clean face %26amp; let dry for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off w/ cool water.
Apply a thin layer of plain milk of magnesia, let it dry for 15-20 minutes, rinse off w/ cool water %26amp; a clean wash cloth. Plain milk of magnesia will absorb excess oil %26amp; temporarily tighten pores.
Excellent article: http://health.yahoo.com/experts/skintype鈥?/a>Large pores?!?!?
I absolutely love the Biore pore cleansing strips for removing the stuff that clogs up and enlarges my nose pores.
Go out to Walgreens and pick up some stridex or try taking some rubbing alchohol and dabbing a little bit onto a cutip and wiping it on your pores, just do this every night. it'll dry them out.
do u get acne cos i have the same prob, but w acne. id say just wash ur face 2 times a day
the best advice i can give you, which i got from my dermatologist, was to wash your face with cold water twice a day, because cold makes your pores smaller and if you do that consistently, your pores will eveentually become smaller without using chemicals.
Wash with a good cleanser like Neutrogena or Clean and Clear, use a little powder or oil blotting sheets during the day, and at night use Neutrogena Rapid Clear gel or clay masks like Queen Helene Mint Julep.
You can't really shrink your pores, but you can remove blackheads, control oil, and make them appear smaller. Cold water splashed on your face in the morning will help temporarily too.
Pore minimizing cream....use a cold cream...neutrogena works well

Open Pores!?
I have had a very intense acne problem,(have it still),but under control.
I used to always pick or squeeze my pimples and now,my face is full of several holes and blemishes and scars. Can you please tell me ways to get rid of these pores and scarsOpen Pores!?
You can visit with a dermatologist to see if they have any creams or anything to help.
Or.
You can get chemical peel or microdermabrasion.
Both procedures remove dead skin cells, which is good because those dead skin layers are obviously damaged, hence scarring, pitting, etc.
A chemical peel is when an esthetician (skin care specialist) or dermatologist (although, unlikely) will put a solution on your face. They'll apply 3, 4, or so layers, depending on how much you can handle. It burns a little. What the solution does is it gets down into your pores and pushes out all of the bacteria, dead skin cells, excess oils, etc,... so hence, you peel. You'll peel for about 5 days. This procedure will help lighten up scarring and even out your skin tone. It will also brighten your face. It's great!
A microdermabrasion is when an esthetician or dermatologist will use a tool with tiny little crystals at the end to scrape off the dead layers of skin. It doesn't hurt. It doesn't require any down time for healing. It's a really great procedure if you have pitting from acne. But chemical peels also help with that.
Both procedures are about 100 bucks each session. And they require up to 3 sessions to see really great results. You can get them at dermatologist offices or med-spas.
Good luck.
:)Open Pores!?
I'm not sure about the scars but for the pores, you should try keeping a daily face-washing routine. Use the stuff with Salicylic Acid in it. It will make your pores look smaller because it gets rid of the top layer of your skin little by little. Also use toner.
Oh,%26amp; after you wash your face, splash with cold water to close up your pores a little.
I used to have really huge pores but I used 'Neutrogena Deep Clean庐 Invigorating Dual Action Toner', 'Neutrogena庐 Oil-Free Acne Wash', %26amp; moisturizer and my pores are starting to look smaller. (Sorry if that sounds like an advertisement)

Large Pores, what helps?
My Pores are huge! I have tons of tiny holes but at the same time they're recognizable, so what can I do to make this problem go away? -Water, is that it?
I'm not good with daily regimens such as Proactiv but I use it as often as I can. I switch up which may be an issue.Large Pores, what helps?
Well you should be able to do something daily if you want it gone, proactive will help, but there should be something that will shrink your pores, it will be in the same place you bought your proactive. It will say something about pore size.
/mLarge Pores, what helps?
i think
water
You must search for a product that won't really clog your pores but is suited to your skin type.
Wash your face with warm water with your cleanser then wash it with cold water to close your pores.
Hope it will work!
nothing shrinks them, but there is remedies that make them appear smaller. I also have large pores and I think wetting my face with cold water works best. cold air as well. just dip your face in cold water when you need to.make up tips

My pores are humongous.?
i have very large pores on my cheeks.
what is the best product to reduce the size of my pores? My pores are humongous.?
They're just called ';pore minimizers'; you can get them at CVS. I don't know which pore minimizing mask would be best for your skin, so I can't recommend you anything. You should just try a few and find out which one works best for you.My pores are humongous.?
Here's a link for a home remedy.

Big pores?
What product or preferably homemade solution should I use if I have big pores on my face?
Thanks.Big pores?
There are no miracle cures (none that I have found...yet). Liz Earle's Gentle Face Exfoliator was recommended in a magazine so I have used that which made a difference in that it made my skin brighter.
If you are prone to oily skin and large pores they tend to get worse with age.
Using an exfoliator is probably best although some aren't suitable for everyday use (Liz Earle's is).
Clinique do a good range of pore minimising treatments but can be a bit pricey.
Invest in a good foundation because if you can't get rid of them then you can disguise them. I recently bought Max Factor's Miracle Touch and it's the best I've used. If you get the perfect match then it makes your skin look fab.Big pores?
idk
just start with warm water to open them
after washing your face, wet a cloth with very cold water and press it on your face (do not rub)
it will help reduce them
lemon juice will help close up big pores
also an egg yolk but i wouldnt recommend it
its not homemade but try clinique pore minimiser

Clogged pores...?
I have a lot of clogged pores on my nose and chin. I was my face every day with an exfoliating facewash, but they NEVER go away! How can I get rid of them?Clogged pores...?
i totally agree with mer-bear
the ultra cleansing pore strips work so well!
there about 5 dollars and come with 6 a pack atleast if you just get the pack with nose strips only
but every pack you buy, inside it comes with a $2 off biore coupon so after the first buy it'll only cost about $3
the only bad thing is that it might hurt wen your trying to peel the strip off, but its totally worth it
you can also get packs that can remove from nose nd face
nd it'll come with 14 strips (7 for nose/face each) nd cost $9.99
you can buy it at any drugstore/target-walmartClogged pores...?
Try the Biore pore strips! They worked really well for me. They have ones for your nose, and your face. There's also scented ones that smell really good, but my favorite are the Ultra-Deep cleansing ones.
Hope I helped! =]
Give yourself a facial once a week or every other week and was your face with the facewash twice a day. What kind do you use? Try Dove.
Hope that helps :D
Theres this clean and clear stuff that uses the steam from your shower to work.
its AMAZING! it works soso well

Large pores on nose!?
okok i have very large pores on my nose and i was wondering how can i remove them!!!!!!!!!!!1Large pores on nose!?
You can not shrink pores but to keep them from getting bigger you can make sure that you clean your face daily with a good cleanser. For a woman you can use a pore minimizer it is a lotion you could probably use it too, I just assume your a guy from your pic. Clinique has some. You may try going to www.sephora.com and do a keyword search at the top of the page for pore minimizer. Several come up.Large pores on nose!?
you can't actually remove them, but there are products that can make them smaller.
N.V Perricone Skin activator I get mine at Nordstroms. You can buy it online too. It is expensive. Yet a bottle will last for years.
Try the Biore Pore Minimizing Line or try making a mask with some crushed up aspirin %26amp; water (leave on for about 15 minutes). It will help make your pores look smaller.
REMOVE PORES? lol
