Open Pores!?

I have had a very intense acne problem,(have it still),but under control.


I used to always pick or squeeze my pimples and now,my face is full of several holes and blemishes and scars. Can you please tell me ways to get rid of these pores and scarsOpen Pores!?
You can visit with a dermatologist to see if they have any creams or anything to help.

You can get chemical peel or microdermabrasion.





Both procedures remove dead skin cells, which is good because those dead skin layers are obviously damaged, hence scarring, pitting, etc.





A chemical peel is when an esthetician (skin care specialist) or dermatologist (although, unlikely) will put a solution on your face. They'll apply 3, 4, or so layers, depending on how much you can handle. It burns a little. What the solution does is it gets down into your pores and pushes out all of the bacteria, dead skin cells, excess oils, etc,... so hence, you peel. You'll peel for about 5 days. This procedure will help lighten up scarring and even out your skin tone. It will also brighten your face. It's great!





A microdermabrasion is when an esthetician or dermatologist will use a tool with tiny little crystals at the end to scrape off the dead layers of skin. It doesn't hurt. It doesn't require any down time for healing. It's a really great procedure if you have pitting from acne. But chemical peels also help with that.





Both procedures are about 100 bucks each session. And they require up to 3 sessions to see really great results. You can get them at dermatologist offices or med-spas.

I'm not sure about the scars but for the pores, you should try keeping a daily face-washing routine. Use the stuff with Salicylic Acid in it. It will make your pores look smaller because it gets rid of the top layer of your skin little by little. Also use toner.





Oh,%26amp; after you wash your face, splash with cold water to close up your pores a little.





I used to have really huge pores but I used 'Neutrogena Deep Clean庐 Invigorating Dual Action Toner', 'Neutrogena庐 Oil-Free Acne Wash', %26amp; moisturizer and my pores are starting to look smaller. (Sorry if that sounds like an advertisement)
