Can someone plz tell me if cold showers can close your pores so that it can prevent pimples from growing?Pores and pimples?
rinsing with warm water followed by cold water can kind of tighten your pores but it won't close them.
Some cases pimples' source is not layer of dead skin trapping the oil... so to answer your question

Never heard that-you could try some facial products like an exfoliator and a mask. Some masks are made to reduce pore sizes.

I dont think so. But when you steam your face it opens your pores you dont want them closed. You steam your face by taking really hott water and putting your face over it (not on it of course). This should help.
