i always hear things about pores!
i know that steam opens pores but if u have a big zit is there pores over the zit
if so why doesnt it open when exposed to steam???Pores on Zits!!!!!???
ldywolf has some good info but in my opinion (%26amp; that I've heard from dermatologists) forcing it to open or pop is the worst thing to do. We all do it, sure, b/c we want the zit to drain %26amp; go away. The danger with popping is it can/does cause scars b/c you are breaking the skin.
A zit technically is an infection below the skin where dirt has gotten down into your pore %26amp; clogged the pore. A zit begins forming deep in your skin many days before you even see it. Wash your face regularly, use acne products or tea tree oil on the zit you want to go away. And if you must pop it, hold a hot wash cloth on the zit for a minute or two so that the hot water opens your pores - this will decrease the tearing of the skin when you pop it %26amp; hopefully you won't get a scar. Washing your face every day morning %26amp; night is best, b/c that helps you minimize the zits.
(Your pores do open when exposed to steam, however they are very small to begin with so you probably will not see a visible difference, this is not an instant solution to a zit because the infection is very deep - there's no instant cure, you have to let it run it's course to a degree. Basically once you see the zit it's too late, start taking regular care of your skin %26amp; you should see a decrease in the number of zits. If you're a teenager though, some of the cause is hormones [not just dirt %26amp; oil] %26amp; you can try to get as few as possible by taking good care of your skin.)Pores on Zits!!!!!???
A zip is a clogged pore on your skin....a pore is kind of like your entering and exiting holes for your skin it is how vitamin D is absorbed from the sun to the skin, also it is how the body extracts oils from the inside out....sometimes too much oil gets stuck in a pore all the way to the surface and the oils and dirt seals the opening and THAT is a zip. steaming can help but you need to reopen that pore to get the oils and dirt out and sometimes it take force
